About

Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

Like many entrepreneurs, I got into sales young. In second grade, my teacher would give us candy for answering questions. I realized that instead of eating the candies, I could sell them for a dollar each and use the money to buy more candy.

I grew up between India and the US; it was seeing poverty in India that made me passionate about education for social impact and profit. By high school, I had built a tutoring business that served some of the wealthiest families in Arizona. Shutting that business down to go to Harvard was probably the worst financial decision of my life.

But Harvard was great, and most importantly I met my wife there. I had a job as a quantitative trader after graduating– when I quit to be an entrepreneur again her father said to me: “You’ve pulled out your sword– now you must swing.” That company, Jinso Research, grew quickly during the pandemic and was acquired by Correlation One in 2022.

When ChatGPT launched, it was clear to me that AI tutors would change education forever. I apologized to my father-in-law and started building Jinso Labs. Our vision is to use AI to make bureaucracies better at serving their people, starting with education.

What Jinso does: We help governments use AI to train their workforces, starting with English

Who we work with: Top educational institutions and ministries in 19 countries
